Slow Italy: a private photographic escape from Rome

We’ll begin our day together in Rome with a coffee and a quick chat—it’s the perfect way to break the ice and get to know each other before setting off. From there, I’ll drive us out of the city into the Lazio countryside.

Our first stop is Calcata, a medieval village perched on a cliff, famous for its bohemian spirit and winding stone alleys. Time seems to slow here: artists’ studios, ivy-covered houses, and hidden corners create a magical atmosphere that feels worlds away from the bustle of Rome. As we wander through its narrow lanes, we’ll pause for photos that capture both the charm of Calcata and the natural flow of the day.

After exploring Calcata, we’ll make our way back toward Rome, stopping by Anguillara Sabazia, a lakeside town on the shores of Lake Bracciano. Here, the pace turns even more relaxed. You’ll have time to soak in the peaceful views, enjoy a drink by the water, and let the lake breeze reset your senses before we return to the city.

Throughout the day, I’ll be documenting the experience with candid shots, portraits, and atmospheric details—your personal story woven into these timeless Italian settings.
